Here’s your Tiny Ears Weekly News Update – five fresh stories this week from the parks, streaming, and Disney news.
1. Disney Channels Pulled from YouTube TV Over Failed Contract

First up in Disney News, as of October 31, 2025, major networks owned by The Walt Disney Company—including ESPN, ABC, FX, Nat Geo and Disney Channel—were removed from YouTube TV after Disney and Google failed to agree on a new carriage deal. The dispute centers on how much YouTube TV pays Disney and whether those fees would raise subscriber costs. Users of YouTube TV may lose access not only to live programming but also previously-recorded content from those channels.
R2’s take: “Wait—so we might lose our favorite shows? Oh we use Hulu, we’re good!”
2. New ‘Wicked: For Good’ Themed Experience Unveiled at Universal Studios

At Universal Studios Florida, the attraction Wicked: The Experience has been updated in celebration of the upcoming film Wicked: For Good, which debuts November 21 2025. The refresh includes new props and photo-ops of Glinda and Elphaba, themed treats such as the “Strawberriful Waffle,” and exclusive merchandise.
Lilly’s take: “Cool! I want to dress up in pink and green and take the photo where the yellow-brick road is. Can we get the waffle too?”
3. Disney World Holiday Decorations Appear November 2 at Magic Kingdom

Exciting holiday Disney News! The Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort will begin its holiday decor rollout starting November 2, about two weeks before the bulk of the official holiday events begin. This means early-November visitors may enjoy the festive ambiance with less of the heavy December crowds.
Lilly’s take: “Yay! Let’s plan our family photo in front of the big wreaths and lights before it gets super busy. Maybe wear matching sweaters!
4. Extended Evening Hours Return to Pandora At Animal Kingdom

With earlier sunsets, Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park will see extended evening hours, allowing guests to experience the glowing floating mountains after dark. The nighttime lighting transforms the land’s ambiance, making it a unique “after-sunset” visit.
R2’s take: “Ooooh, I want to see the glowing mountains at night! Can we stay for that and get pictures when it’s dark?”
5. Disney World’s Extended Evening Hours: Deluxe-Resort Guests Get Late-Night Perks

The Extended Evening Hours benefit at Walt Disney World lets guests staying at Deluxe Resorts and Villas remain in select parks after normal closing hours—two-hour blocks from 6 PM–8 PM or 9 PM–11 PM depending on the park and date. Upcoming dates for late-2025 and early 2026 include regular sessions at Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
Lilly’s take: “Staying late means we could ride fewer crowds and get on more rides! That’s awesome.”
R2: “And maybe we’ll have snack time under the stars! I’m in.”
Tiny Ears Tip of the Week
If your family is planning a visit soon, consider booking one of the Deluxe-level resorts just for one night to take advantage of those extended evening hours—especially if the kids (or you) enjoy a more relaxed start and a later finish. That “late ride time” can feel like a mini-VIP night.
