Hi friends! It’s Lilly (I’m 10!) and R2 (I’m 8!), and we just HAD to tell you about our very favorite rides at Magic Kingdom. We argued a little (okay, a LOT 😆) but we finally agreed on our top 5. Buckle up, because these rides are the BEST!!!
1. TRON Lightcycle Run 🏍️💙
Lilly: Okay, this one is AMAZING. You get to sit on a light cycle, just like in the movie, and zoom around at incredible speeds. I felt like I was flying in a video game.
R2: I screamed the whole time, but in a good way. Definitely the coolest ride EVER.
Lilly: But I like it more!!!!!!
2. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ⛏️💎
R2: I love going in the mine and seeing the dwarves sing HIII HOOOOO.
Lilly: The part in the diamond mine is so pretty! And the big hill at the end is the best.
3. Space Mountain 🚀🌌
Lilly: This one is super dark, and you can’t see where the track is going. I laughed so hard when R2 screamed, “WE’RE IN OUTER SPACE!”
R2: It’s so fast and awesome. I had no idea where we were going!
4. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure 🐸🌿
R2: This ride is awesome! The music makes you want to dance the whole time.
Lilly: Until the drop at the end. Then you just scream.
R2: Yeah, but it’s the best drop. Even if you get soaked.
Lilly: You got more wet than me.
R2: Not fair.
5. Astro Orbiter 🌠🚀
Lilly: This one is kind of underrated. You go way up above Tomorrowland and spin around—you’ve got an amazing view.
R2: I felt like we were going to launch straight into space. I thought I was going to fly off my rocket!
Lilly: But you didn’t.
R2: …this time.
🎃 Special Shoutout from R2: Haunted Mansion 👻
R2: Okay, this didn’t make our top 5, but I HAVE to say something about Haunted Mansion. It’s spooky and fun at the same time. The ghosts dance, sing, and follow you home (but only pretend). I love it—it’s like Halloween inside a ride!
Lilly: NOPE. Too creepy. Not going on that again.
R2: You’re missing out. The hitchhiking ghosts are my friends now.
Lilly: In that case, stay away from me! 😳
