Hey Disney friends! 👋 It’s us again — Lilly (10) and R2 (8).
Today we’re ranking our Top 5 rides at Hollywood Studios. And let us tell you… this one was TOUGH. There are SO many awesome rides here that we argued a little (okay, a lot 😅). But we finally decided on our list, and we even have a special shoutout at the end.
Here we go! 🎶🚀🎬
1. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster 🎸🚗
Lilly: This ride is INSANE. As soon as I was tall enough I dashed as fast as the rollercoaster to get in line! You start by blasting off super fast and it feels like your face is gonna fly off. The upside-down loops are my favorite. Plus, the music makes it even cooler.
R2: It’s like being inside a rock concert and a roller coaster at the same time.
2. Slinky Dog Dash 🐶🎢
R2: Slinky Dog is AWESOME. I love that it’s sooooooooo fast! It’s not too scary, but it’s super fun. I love the part where he bounces up and down like “boing boing boing!”
Lilly: It’s perfect for kids who don’t want a HUGE coaster but still want the fun. And you get to see Toy Story Land, which looks amazing.
3. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ✨🚀
Lilly: BEST. STAR. WARS. RIDE. EVER. It’s like you’re in a real Star Wars movie with stormtroopers and Kylo Ren.
R2: I love this ride! It actually feels like you’re escaping the Empire. My favorite part is when the First Order takes you prisoner. It’s so real that I thought we were actually captured.
4. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway 🚂🐭
R2: This one is really funny. You think you’re going to the movies, but then your train goes totally crazy.
Lilly: My favorite part is the dance class with Daisy Duck. Reed tried to do the moves in the ride car and it was hilarious. 😂
5. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run 🛸🌌
Lilly: Flying the Falcon = DREAM COME TRUE. I got to be the pilot and I only crashed a little bit.
R2: I got to be the gunner, and I shot SO many TIE fighters. Han Solo would be proud of me.
Lilly: Umm… maybe. You almost blew us up.
✨Special Shoutout: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 🏨⚡
Lilly: Okay, I HAVE to give a shoutout to Tower of Terror. It’s so spooky and amazing when the elevator drops. I LOVE IT.
R2: NOPE. Never again. I did it once and that was enough for my whole life. My stomach still hurts just thinking about it.
Lilly: Fine, I’ll ride it without you then. More drops for meeeeeeee! 😁
🎉 Final Thoughts!
Hollywood Studios has so many awesome rides that it was hard to even pick just five. Between roller coasters, Star Wars adventures, and Mickey and Minnie fun, this park is like stepping right into the movies. 🎬🍿
