While details are still limited, this marks one of the biggest theme park collaborations for Pokémon’s 30th anniversary and suggests exciting things ahead for fans everywhere.

Lilly’s take: “Woah! Pokémon in Universal parks is huge. I hope we get Pikachu meet-and-greets and maybe even a cool ride someday!”

3. Fast & Furious Roller Coaster Coming to Universal Orlando in 2027

Universal Orlando Resort has revealed plans for a new high-speed roller coaster called Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, set to open in 2027. This thrilling attraction will feature 360-degree drifting ride vehicles and reach heights of 170 feet, replacing older attractions like Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and eventually retiring the Fast & Furious: Supercharged ride. The new coaster is inspired by the film franchise and promises fast action and intense fun for thrill seekers.
